During my time at Tether we developed the event series called the Brands & Buyers Brunch.
The Brands & Buyers Brunch is an exclusive, relationship-focused event that connects Ontario retail buyers with innovative, retail-ready cannabis brands.
This first of its kind event brought over 20 brands together to spark partnerships, unlock distribution opportunities, and elevate the cannabis business conversation.
The first Brands & Buyers Brunch was supported by the Ontario Cannabis Store or OCS. The OCS is the #1 global purchaser of Cannabis.
Tethers Budtender Sampling Series
While with Tether, I contributed to the planning and execution of cannabis industry events across Canada, supporting event logistics, coordinating with partners and vendors, and helping create memorable experiences that strengthened industry relationships and community engagement.
Working in a fast-paced environment, I assisted in the delivery of multiple events in quick succession, typically supporting two national events per month.
KIND
While working with One Plant legal Canadian Cannabis event began. Industry leaders were established and brands built.
The events and media company 'KIND' lead this charge. During my time with One Plant I acted as a representative for the company by attending the first 6 KIND events. These events brought industry heads to connect, speak and most impactfully learn about what has worked in other legal markets.
The photo bellow was taken at the first ever KIND event which was held at Rebel on Toronto's waterfront.
Through the efforts of myself and my colluges the KIND event series and One Plant have developed a partnership. The event series has since been rebranded to One Plant KIND and continues to host 2 yearly events which are atteneded by 15,000+ attendees.
